The Infamous Disco Pants!

Hello everyone,
I'm sure you've all heard about the disco pants by now, because let's face it, they're everywhere! I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about them, including myself. However, I have completely changed my mind, and I love them. I think they are a brilliant idea. Very thick leggings with a slight twist; perfect for the winter when you don't want to wear your plain black skinnies.

However, there is one thing I hate about them; they don't suit all body types. For example, I know for a fact that they would not suit me at all, because they would hug my body in all the wrong places. And you have no idea how much that bothers me, because they are just so easy to style. You can dress them down, with a simple white/grey tee, or dress them up, with a sheer button down. You can even throw on a chunky nit sweater for extra warmth!

You can find the Disco pants here:
American Apparel- The Disco Pant

Or a dupe for it here:
Charcoal Disco Pants
Black High Waisted Disco Pants

What do you think of the disco pants? Love them or hate them?

A hint of glitter!

Hello,
Everybody seems to be loving painting their ring finger-nail with a coat of glitter. Now, I am not really one for anything glittery, but I can say that I have been converted when it comes to nail polish. Although I'm dreading the time that I will have to remove it, I am really enjoying it so far!
The nail polishes I used are Revlon Bare Bones, and Sally Hansen glitter nail polish

What do you think about glittery nail polish?

Random Wishlist :P

Hello everyone!
It snowed yesterday! I was ecstatic when I saw the snow but of course it didn't stick around a lot, because it never does in NC. And although I love the snow, it's the feeling after it's gone that gets me down. I do not like February. It feels like spring is so close yet so far away, and I just can't wait for it to be here!
So whilst I was trying to not let the weather get me down, I found myself browsing through online stores. Bad Elle. I picked out some things that I loved, and I wanted to share them! :)

1. Guns N Roses tank- Forever 21
I think this tank top is really fun and edgy. Just imagine it tucked into high wasted shorts- perfection!

2. Maxi skirt- Nasty Gal
Oh My God! I have fallen in love with this website! It has everything you would ever need! I especially love this baby blue maxi skirt with a slit on the side. Just look at it- isn't it beautiful? I would say this is my favorite thing out of all of the items in this wishlist. I just loves it so much!

3. Ring- Urban Outfitters
This ring is so versatile. You can literally wear it with anything. I would personally wear it on my index finger.

4. Black purse- Forever 21
Isn't this little purse cute? It's a great size for me because I never carry around with me tons of stuff.
By the way Forever 21 is having a great 70% off sale right now so you might want to check it out! :)

5. Lipstick- MAC
This lipstick in the shade Russian Red is just a true red, and that's the only way I can describe it.

6. Biore Nose Strips- Target
I saw Louise and Zoe talk about these, and I really want to try them because my nose is not looking particularly great.

So that was my random little wishlist! :)

Fashion Friday~ Dr Martens

Hello everyone,
Oh yeah, it's Fashion Friday!
I was brave enough to wear my Dr Martens to school today. It's easier to wear them when I'm out and about, but not a lot of people dare to wear a shoe like this, in school, so it makes me a bit uncomfortable at times. But you know, everyone's style is different and as I get older I appreciate it a lot more!
On that note, I think it's about time I start talking about the outfit. I don't usually like to have a lot going on at the same time. That's why I paired my statement pair of shoes with blue jeggings, black tee and a black pleather jacket, just so it isn't distracting on the eye.

What's your most daring item in your closet?

Valentine's Day OOTD

Happy Valentine's day everyone!
I thought I would write this quick little post to share what I wore on Valentine's day. Since, it's spirit week at our school we are supposed to wear something that resembles love to celebrate this day. Since I thought that wearing all pink would definitely not be "me", I opted for dark grey jeggings and a t shirt with hearts! Going along with the red-heart theme I wore a big ring with heart charms and a pair of heart shaped earrings!

Although I've always been single on Valentine's day, I quite enjoy it. It's an uplifting holiday, though it doesn't hold a special place in my heart, like Christmas and Easter do. After all, it is a holiday that was made up purely for stores to make money! But other than that it's a cute day.

Did you enjoy Valentine's day? Did it consist of heart shaped everything, like mine? :P

20 Unusual Date Ideas

Hello,
Are you stuck for date ideas? With Valentine's Day just around the corner, you don't have much time. But don't you worry because in the picture above (as you've probably already read), there are 20 unusual date ideas, for those you want to step outside the box!
You can always go for the dinner and a movie, but what's the fun in that? After finding this list on Pinterest I have put numbers 6,7,8,11,12,13, and 20 in my bucket list!
Will you be doing any of these?

1.  Go on a search for as many good climbing trees as possible,  climb as high as you both can in all of them, compile photo evidence.
2. Go to a major chain bookstore, and leave notes to future readers in copies of your favorite books.
3. Have her dressed up as a ghost and you dress up as Pacman. Walk around downtown holding hands, and whenever anyone sees you two, pretend to be embarassed, and run off screaming "wocka wocka wocka".
4. Create photo evidence suggesting that you went on an adventure that didn't really happen.
5. Dress up as superheroes and stop at least one petty crime "ie. jaywalking, littering..."
6. Build forts out of furniture and blankets, and wage war with paper airplanes.
7. Try and visit as many people as you can and turn as many things inside their apartment upside down as you can, without them noticing.
8. Go to the airport, get the cheapest, soonest departing flight to anywhere when you show up, and stay there for a weekend.
9. Write a piece of fiction together. Outside of a cafe. Ask strangers when you get stuck.
10. Dress to the nines, pretend to be married and test drive every expensive vehicles at an auto dealership.
11. Do the lamest tourist thing in your area that you both secretely wanted to do forever, Have an unashamed good time.
12. In the midlle of the night, drive to the beach, so you arrive just as the sun is rising. Have a breakfast picnic, then fall asleep together. Bring a sun umbrella.
13. Drive somewhere unknown and have dinner in a city you've never been to. With fake names.
14. Go to a minor league baseball games under the stars. Tell each other stories about how bad you are at athletics. Randomly cheer for both teams. Eat lots of Cracker Jacks.
15. Go around the city with sidewalk chalk and draw hearts with equations inside of random things.
16. Walk around a city and perform short silent plays in front of security cameras.
17. With camera and pair of boots, make photolog of a day in the life of the invisible men.
18. Walk around the city all night and find a place to eat breakfast at dawn.
19. Go to a restaurant and convince the cook to create something completely new for you.
20. Rent a movie you've never seen before. Set on mute and improvise dialogue.

I also found this picture on Pinterest and it is a quote that I live by.

Fashion Friday- Denim Overload

Hello,
I have been looking forward to Friday all week. Not because it is the end of the school week, well that too, but most importantly because I can finally start my new series "Fashion Friday". Every Friday there is going to be a fashion related post on my blog. How exciting!

So, I wore this outfit to school the other day, and I really liked it. I find it interesting to match different denim. Be careful, though, 'cause you don't want to wear to pieces of denim clothing the same color- you have to be really cool to pull it off, which I'm clearly not :P

Sweater- TJ-Maxx
Knitted round scarf- American Eagle
Denim jacket- Levi's vintage
Jeggings- Garage
Boots- TJ-Maxx

My most loved rings!

Hello,
I was clearing out my jewelry drawers the other day and I picked a few of my most worn rings to show you. I am a jewelry lover. I really enjoy wearing rings and necklaces the most, to be honest. Spikes and crosses are really in right now, and forever 21 and H&M have some really good and affordable pieces at the moment, so I think it's worth taking a look at their stores.

Owl ring- Urban Planet
Two thin gold rings- Forever 21
Pastel pink, and silver rings- from a random store in Greece

Fun Fact; I've been wearing that 3 hoop silver ring every single day for the last three years! Yes, I love it that much. :) And if you look closely you'll see that you can't separate the 3 hoops from one another. My mom gave it to me, so it holds a very special place to my heart.

What is your favorite piece of jewelry?

Manicure Monday- Baby pink

Hello!
Like most people I match my nails to the seasons. So, since it's, obviously, been freezing winter I dived into my dark nail polishes. Browns, purples, and blues have been coating my nails for quite some time. So it came as a shock to myself when I decided to paint my nails a baby pink.

After this, I rekindled my love for pastel nail polishes. they are really easy to wear and do not distract from the rest of the outfit. But the best thing about it is that even when it chips you can't really tell!
The nail polish is from a brand called Jordana and I got it from a little shop while I was living in Canada. It is also great for a French manicure, which I'll be attempting some time next month, hopefully! :P
